The right standard of surface preparation of structural steel & galvanized steel is imperative in achieving a quality finish.

Tranzblast offers traditional abrasive blast cleaning (previously known as sandblasting)  using two primary blast media, angular steel grit and garnet to produce AS 1627 Class Sa 1, 2, 2½, 3 blast standards to steel surfaces.

Galvanised surfaces on the other hand are lightly abrasive brush (sweep) blasted to provide a sufficient key for paint coating systems.

We operate a fully enclosed blast chamber as well as a self-contained blast shed which together allow blast preparation of a diverse range of shapes, weights and sizes.
